Support Coordination

Assistance with Support Coordination From RLS Disability

Support coordination plays a crucial role in helping NDIS participants understand their plans and turn funding into meaningful support. Many participants face confusion, delays, or service gaps without structured guidance. Support coordination provides clarity, direction, and confidence by connecting these people with appropriate providers.

At RLS Disability, we make NDIS accessible by supporting you in making informed decisions, protecting choice and control, and reducing risks. Through professional oversight and practical assistance from our support coordinators, participants and their families can focus on goals rather than paperwork.

What is Support Coordination?
Support coordination is an NDIS-funded service designed to help participants implement and manage their plans effectively. Our assigned support coordinator will work alongside you to identify your unique needs, explore the services available, and connect with suitable NDIS providers.

Our support coordinators assist you with service agreements, bo-+-okings, and communication between supports. They monitor your progress, address challenges, and respond to changes in circumstances. This ensures the supports remain aligned with your goals, funding requirements, and personal preferences.

Why Choose Our Support Coordination?
We make support coordination easy. Participants and their carers have always trusted RLS Disability for:
  • Participant-centred support
  • Independent coordination with no conflict of service delivery
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS processes, safeguards, and funding rules
  • Proactive risk identification and timely issue resolution
  • Clear communication with participants, families, and providers
  • Experienced coordinators
  • Ongoing support during reviews and transitions
How is Support Coordination Included in Your Plan?
Your NDIS funding is determined by what is considered “reasonable and necessary” to help you achieve your goals, alongside the support you receive from family, friends, community, and government services.

If your condition is assessed as “reasonable and necessary”, support coordination will get funded under the “Capacity Building” category. The budget allocates a set amount of funding for a support coordinator to assist you in understanding and using your plan effectively. If your plan clearly states the level of support coordination funded, you are required to use only that approved level.

If your NDIS plan does not specify a particular level of support coordination, you have the flexibility to choose the level of support coordination that best matches your specific needs and circumstances.
